We don't want to toot our own horns too much, so we'll let some of our satisfied customers tell you in their own words just why they love SpaceMonger. Every quote below came from either a posting in our forum or an e-mail sent to us. And for what it's worth, we've included just quotes about SpaceMonger 2.1 here; there are hundreds more we could've included for older versions.

Absolutely blew my socks off! ... a powerhouse diagnostic tool. I was particularly impressed with the way that it responds to the Zoom +/- buttons on my Logitech wireless keyboard. I also really like the depth and breadth of the new options menus. You really can configure almost anything. [A] fantastic piece of work. --- Steven G.
OMG! this is incredible! (sorry, I'm not normally one for using texting shorthand AND exclamation points, I'll try and contain myself) ... you have really outdone yourself with the new version. Simply incredible. --- Michael C.
God I love this program! ... There just is no other program that works this well, and shows you this quickly what's going on inside the drive. ... Keep up the great work. --- Gerry F.
Awesome program, my man. Thanks for the chance to beta test, I love doing stuff like this. :D The first impression was the nice interface. I love the update-as-it-scans. Zooming with the mouse-wheel to where the pointer is located is sweet. ... The statistics are way cool, and I really liked spinning the pie around. --- Olo
I've been using SpaceMonger since version 1.4 for many years and it's rescued me every time. Finally being able to download version 2.1 my expectations were met and exceeded. It's brilliant man, absolutely genius. --- Steffan

This new version of Spacemonger is fantastic -- I'm a huge fan. ... [It came] at a particularly good time -- over the weekend I found that I was down to just 300MB of free space on my home computer, and Spacemonger made it simple for me to work out what needed to be archived, and what could be deleted. In no time I was up to 20GB free once more, and huge credit has to go to Spacemonger for this. Aside from the exciting new whizzy interface (and it really is rather cool), I've totally fallen in love with the 'hide folder' facility .... This is possibly the single greatest functional improvement in my eyes: particularly if, for example, you have created a "to burn to CD" folder on your computer, and want to view all files other than those in that folder. ... Kudos ... for such a stable program, and such a vast set of improvements to an already great utility! --- Stuart B.
I want to thank you for an ingeniously wonderful program. ... I have to say, with imperfect grammar, that I heart this program. Seeing the file-system slowly build up while scanning and analyzing the statistics afterwards is a great experience. --- "Greenthumb"
I wasn't planning on upgrading to SM2, but the [release candidate] has fully sold me. It's just far too slick and functional (and pretty) not to support. --- Rich M.

Only 5 minutes of use, but my initial response is ... 'OhMyGawd!'. I hope to honor you with a purchase .... --- John D.
Just installed [the beta] and I'm amazed at how smooth it is. I've been using SpaceMonger for some years now and it is an immense help in dealing with daily administration duties. --- "Thallium"
Very intuitive, and I love all the configurability. [But] I think the real endorsement is when I left it up and walked away from my desk, a co-worker had looked at it, recognized exactly what it was doing, and just loved every feature I pointed out. --- Dave
I haven't read the documentation, but many many features seem evident from just clicking around, which is how I like it. ... all praise and no probs. Its pretty, its fun, and, as SpaceMonger has always been, immensly useful. --- Josh

My compliments on the work done on 2.1! Long awaited by a large community. Although the Gui is a bit perculiar (Non Xp, Vista style) you have put down a huge, great piece of work! --- Wilco O.
2.1 is WONDERFUL. It's been awhile coming but the difference is astounding. A must-have tool. Not sure what else to say other than I've given it a good run through and it seems really solid. ... I'll be using [SpaceMonger] like a workhorse once it's released. --- Brad M.
I loaded it and had no isses from the beginning. The interface (GUI) is great! I like all the little touches you made in the panels and sub-panels. --- "Mark"
I spent some time with it today and have to say that this is a great and very useful programme. I am just an ordinary user and not an expert like others ... so I have no special insight. I had no problems with the installation. It scans fast and is brilliant at what it does. I particularly like the pie charts and the mouse wheel zooming. Others have noted the intuitive nature of the programme and this is certainly right. --- Nigel B.

I have to admit to going 'ooooh' at the spinning pie chart. The drive summary on the left I find very useful and as some of my network drives are connecting/disconnecting all the time the fast refresh was also welcome. Scanning was fast and trouble free for local and network drives. ... I'm very impressed with v2! But,to be honest, the biggest amazement is seeing how much rubbish i have on my drives. --- "Bunjiquo"
I used to use SM1.4, so my first impression on SM2.1 was : whaou ! It's "so" different ! O_O :D Well, I start playing with the soft. Scan a disk, and as in SM1.4, dbl click on a folder. Yeah, looks great, smoothing transitions. Beautiful ! :D ... [SpaceMonger 2.1] is great, really much more powerfull than 1.4 .... Congratulations : you have really made a good job ! --- Bill R.
...it was definitely worth the wait. Very nice. It's fun to watch the progressive update of the treemap while the drive is scanned. I now actually look forward to cleaning out my hard drive(s). Well, almost ;-) --- Ulrich C.

First, I must mention that SM is one of my favorite programs of all times. Being able to work with the beta of SM 2.1 is a great honor :D What I noticed first of all is that the program is very dynamic and fast. It gives a very smooth and comfortable feeling to the user. That must have taken alot of work/planning hours. Also, it's very intuitive, If I want to do something, I can simply do it without thinking too much about it ... I really like what turned out of SM 2.1, it's much cooler that I thought it would be, glad to see it's running fast and smooth and scans the drives much faster than it used to in 1.4. --- "gpgemini"
My first impression, after a single scan, checking out the various tabs and expandable regions was: this program is almost ridiculously slick. ... it is extremely intuitive. ... I can't stress enough--I love the interface. When I performed my first scan and watched it update the treemap view in real-time, I nearly laughed with delight. --- "insignis"
[SpaceMonger] 2.1 brings great improvements versus 1.4. I am not too much into huge drives, so I can't say anything about performance of 2.1, but I appreciate many new and cool features. In conclusion, many great improvements. (and probably many more to discover...) --- Pierre P.

- easy install, no problems - started sm without problems - great UI, i'm really breathless... -> i'm using sm 1.4 for a long time, but this new look and feel ... wow O_O So, everything has changed, but... i'm familiar with all programm options... very intuitive! --- Ray
In a word, awesome. Just the kind of thing I have come to expect from you... Speed - man, is it snappy! ... Mouse scroll-wheel zooming - this is very intuitive, and I did it without even thinking and then realized, wow, it zooms when you use the mouse wheel! ... This is going to sound strange, but there are possibly too many features! --- Emo F.
SM2.1 seems like a magnificent project front to back - hiccup-free distribution, easy install, clean and crisp UI, and from my angle a pretty sharp engine under the hood. Plowed through my 200GB external in about two minutes, and in minutes helped me free up half a gig on my internal drive that i'd missed with hours of trawling in typical browsing --- B. Gallup
[My first impression is] excellent; nice and snappy on my 1ghz tablet, and I love the colour change options - I'm red/green/brown colour blind, so it's a real plus. ... Can't wait to let it loose on my server; There's 800 gigs worth of sound effects library on there that need a good thrashing ;-) --- "lovemoose"
